For CHART 2026, Arnstedt Östra Karup presents new works by Iranian artist Samaneh Reyhani (1990) and Swedish artist Elisabeth Östin (1989). Both explore how the human body and organic forms can be transformed into dreamlike, unfamiliar shapes, with Reyhani working through textured, scarred sculptures and Östin through fluid, uncanny paintings. Drawing on literary references, their practices converge in a quiet yet charged visual language. At CHART, Östin will present a new series of larger-scale paintings, and Reyhani will show a group of marble sculptures.
